Documents we may ask for

To apply, all you need to send is the application itself. After we receive it, our team will contact you and ask for the records that confirm your household and income, such as:

  • Photo identification for each adult in the household
  • Social Security numbers (or documentation) for household members
  • Proof of income — recent pay stubs, a Social Security or benefits award letter, pension or retirement statements
  • Recent bank statements
  • Your Housing Choice Voucher paperwork, if you have one

When we ask, you can bring the documents in, mail them, or come back to this page and upload them. Missing something? Let us know — we will help you sort it out. Not sure whether you qualify? See if you qualify first.

What happens next

  • We review your application. We check it over and confirm what we have.
  • We may add you to the waitlist. If a home is not open right now, we place you on the list in the order applications come in. Being on the list does not guarantee a home, and wait times vary.
  • We contact you. Our team will reach out to ask for your verification documents — and again when a home becomes available. We will use the phone number and email you gave us, so please keep them current.

Submitting an application does not guarantee housing. All applicants must meet the program's eligibility requirements. Homes are offered subject to availability.
